Dave Brice is an extremely experienced and accomplished cameraman and owner/operator of the Jimmy Jib & Grip Factory Munich camera cranes, operating across the UK and abroad.
Dave trained as a multi-camera studio and outside broadcast cameraman in 1986 at ITV Wales in Cardiff. In 1991 he began operating the original round Jimmy jib and since then has exclusively specialised in operating the Jib. Over the years he has upgraded his equipment and today he owns and operates the Stanton Triangle Jimmy Jib as well as the Grip Factory Munich GF-9 crane.
With decades of experience across multiple genres, Dave has also designed and commissioned modifications, which have been manufactured by specialist TV mechanical engineers, to allow for more efficient use of time and flexibility of the equipment.

Dave is an extremely experienced Jimmy Jib operator, working in all genres of television. He has specialised in Jimmy Jib for over 20 years and is happy working in multi camera live productions as well as single camera drama and documentary programmes. He is also a fully trained and experienced Camera Operator and Lighting Cameraman.
Dave has a reputation for his accuracy in achieving and repeating shots which is invaluable when working on Drama in particular but equally as important for any production working to tight schedules. He has been commended for his creative flair when working in multi camera studio & OB environments given the constraints that are in place, especially at live events.
Dave is experienced and comfortable working in any environment be it as a single camera or as part of a multi camera team.
